Ropeless Systems, Inc. recently presented at the 2024 Ropeless Consortium.   This is the 5th Ropeless Consortium in which Ropeless Systems was a presenter and participant.  

Ropeless Systems is pleased to announce that “first crab” has been harvested and sold commercially using our patent pending Ropeless RISER™ system in the first fully on-demand trap fishing operation in California.

Dr. Harold “Bud” Vincent, has authored an article in the recently published Summer 2024 edition of ECO Magazine. The article, titled “New Underwater Acoustic Applications for Commercial Fishing”, highlights the acoustic communication technology Ropeless Systems has developed to replace traditional buoys and vertical line in restricted fishing zones.

Ropeless Systems Inc. reached a major milestone in conducting a first-of-its-kind demonstration of multi-access underwater acoustic positioning with two independent fishing vessels operating in close proximity.
