2021 Ropeless Consortium

Ropeless Systems, Inc. is presenting at the 2021 Ropeless Consortium. This live virtual meeting will be held during the “Marking Systems” session, starting at 11:30 AM on October 19th. During our presentation, we will be providing an update on the progress made throughout the last year on our Ropeless RISER™ fishing system. Learn what we’ve been working on and what we plan to accomplish in the near future. Dr. Bud Vincent will be present during the live Q&A session to field any questions about our vision for ropeless fishing and the technology behind it.

The Ropeless Consortium is an annual event where individuals and organizations from around the industry meet to openly discuss, raise concerns, and propose solutions for ropeless fishing. The aim of ropeless fishing is to provide a safer environment for whales and other sea life by eliminating the risk of line entanglement from surface buoys. The consortium participants are made up of ropeless fishing system manufacturers, fishers, regulators, and conservationists.

While the live event and Q&A session are only available to registered participants, we’d still love for you to be involved in the conversation. We invite you to view our 2021 presentation here. You can also view last year’s 2020 presentation here.

If you want to get involved, we’re always looking for fishermen to help test our systems. Please feel free to contact us with any feedback, questions, or comments you might have at ping@ropeless.us.
